Kant\u2019\u0131n ba\u015fyap\u0131t\u0131 <em>Kritik der reinen\nVernunft<\/em> bu tarihte yay\u0131mland\u0131. Kant bu eser yay\u0131mland\u0131\u011f\u0131nda 57 ya\u015f\u0131ndayd\u0131.\nE\u011fer bug\u00fcn akademide yer alan bir profes\u00f6r olsayd\u0131 emeklili\u011fine haz\u0131rlan\u0131yor\nolabilirdi. \u00d6yle olmad\u0131. Vefat\u0131na kadar verdi\u011fi eserlerle b\u00fcy\u00fck bir d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnsel d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm\u00fcn\nmerkezinde yer ald\u0131. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E\u011fer <em>Kritik der reinen Vernunft<\/em>\u2019la ba\u015flayan eserler dizisini yay\u0131mlamasayd\u0131 kendisi yine de d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnce tarihinde bir yere sahip olurdu. Ama biz kendisini b\u00fcy\u00fck ihtimalle bir fiziksel co\u011frafyac\u0131 olarak tan\u0131rd\u0131k, bir filozof olarak de\u011fil\u2026 Kendisini, \u00f6rne\u011fin, gelgit olaylar\u0131n\u0131n yerk\u00fcrenin kendi ekseni etraf\u0131ndaki d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f h\u0131z\u0131n\u0131 yava\u015flatabilece\u011fini ilk \u00f6ne s\u00fcren fiziksel co\u011frafyac\u0131 diye bilirdik. Ya da modern mekani\u011fe dayal\u0131 ilk kozmogonilerden birisini kaleme alan bir bilim insan\u0131 olarak ad\u0131n\u0131 anard\u0131k. Galaksilerin yap\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n neden disk bi\u00e7iminde oldu\u011fuyla ilgili bir a\u00e7\u0131klama getiren bir astrofizik\u00e7i olarak da bilim tarihi kitaplar\u0131nda ad\u0131 ge\u00e7ebilirdi. \u015eu andan geriye bak\u0131p iyi ki t\u00fcm bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n \u00f6tesine ge\u00e7ti\u011fini s\u00f6yleyebiliriz. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Akla gelen bir ba\u015fka\nsoru da \u015fu olabilirdi: Kritik projesini yay\u0131mlamaya ba\u015flamayan Kant felsefede\nde bir iz b\u0131rakm\u0131\u015f olmaz m\u0131yd\u0131? Bundan sonra sessiz on y\u0131l olarak an\u0131lan d\u00f6nemde \u00e7ok \u00e7ok az metin\nyay\u0131mlad\u0131. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kant\u2019\u0131n Kritik\u2013\u00f6ncesi\neserlerindeki g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fleri a\u00e7\u0131k\u00e7a reddetti\u011fini ve \u00f6\u011frencilerine bu metinleri\nokumamalar\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6nerdi\u011fini biliyoruz. Bu d\u00f6nem hakk\u0131nda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar yapan \u00e7o\u011fu\nara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131 da benzer g\u00f6r\u00fc\u015fleri savunuyorlar. O d\u00f6nemdeki eserlerin orijinal\nolmad\u0131\u011f\u0131, Kritik d\u00f6nemine ta\u015f\u0131nan problematikler i\u00e7ermedi\u011fi ve hatta ba\u011fda\u015f\u0131k\nbir g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fc sergilemedi\u011fi s\u0131kl\u0131kla dile getiriliyor. T\u00fcm bunlar do\u011fru olmakla\nberaber Kant\u2019\u0131n bu d\u00f6neme ait eserlerini okuman\u0131n \u00e7ok \u00f6nemli bir yarar\u0131\nolabilir: Kant\u2019\u0131n felsefi olarak neyi ba\u015faramad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ya da neyin\nba\u015far\u0131lamayaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fc anlamak, Kritik projesinin \u00e7\u0131k\u0131\u015f noktas\u0131n\u0131 daha\niyi anlamam\u0131z\u0131 sa\u011flayabilir. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kant\u2019\u0131n Kritik \u2013 \u00f6ncesi felsefe projesini anlamak i\u00e7in ilk kitab\u0131na, Canl\u0131 Kuvvetler\u2019e, bakmak yararl\u0131 olabilir. Bu kitapta 22 ya\u015f\u0131nda gen\u00e7 bir \u00fcniversite \u00f6\u011frencisi olan Kant o d\u00f6nemin uzunca s\u00fcredir devam eden <em>Vis Viva <\/em>(Canl\u0131 Kuvvet) tart\u0131\u015fmas\u0131na bir \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm \u00f6nermi\u015fti. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Vis viva<\/em> tart\u0131\u015fmas\u0131Kartezyen d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin okk\u00fclt\nolan\u0131 reddine kadar geri g\u00f6t\u00fcr\u00fclebilir. &nbsp;Kartezyen\nd\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceye g\u00f6re do\u011fada a\u00e7\u0131klamas\u0131 matematiksel olarak verilemeyecek bir husus\nbulunmamaktad\u0131r. \u0130\u00e7sel kuvvetlere sahip bir madde fikrine yer yoktur. Bu bak\u0131\u015f\na\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan cisimlerin \u00f6z\u00fc uzamsal kabul edildi\u011finden kuvvet de ancak bir nicelik\nolarak anla\u015f\u0131labilir. Tanr\u0131 yeg\u00e2ne fail olarak evrendeki hem t\u00fcm hareketin\nkayna\u011f\u0131nda yer al\u0131r hem de hareketi korur. Ba\u015fka bir deyi\u015fle do\u011fadaki t\u00fcm\netkile\u015fimlerde korunan toplam harekettir ve bu nicelik <em>mv<\/em> form\u00fcl\u00fc ile\nifade edilebilir. Newton\u2019\u0131n k\u00fctle anlay\u0131\u015f\u0131 h\u00e2kim olana kadar bu form\u00fclde \u201cm\u201d madde miktar\u0131\nolarak (ki uzama indirgenebilir) ve \u201cv\u201d h\u0131z olarak ele al\u0131nm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Leibniz bu Kartezyen anlay\u0131\u015fa kar\u015f\u0131 \u00e7\u0131km\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Ona g\u00f6re de kuvvet bir nicelik olarak ele al\u0131nabilir ama nicel olana tamamen indirgenemez. Kuvvet maddenin nitel ve \u00f6zsel bir bile\u015fenidir. Kuvvetin nicel ve \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fclebilir etkileri elbette bulunmaktad\u0131r. Ama Tanr\u0131n\u0131n as\u0131l korudu\u011fu maddenin \u00f6z\u00fcnde yer alan canl\u0131 kuvvettir, <em>vis viva<\/em>\u2019d\u0131r. <em>Vis viva<\/em>\u2019n\u0131n b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc ise <em>mv<sup>2<\/sup><\/em> ile ifade edilmelidir. Leibniz, Kartezyen d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncenin d\u00fczg\u00fcn do\u011frusal \u00e7arp\u0131\u015fma ve havaya at\u0131lan bir cismin izledi\u011fi hareketin \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmlemelerini yetersizli\u011fi bak\u0131m\u0131ndan ele\u015ftirmi\u015ftir. D\u00fczg\u00fcn do\u011frusal \u00e7arp\u0131\u015fman\u0131n \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmlenmesinde korunan b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc vekt\u00f6rel almalar\u0131 gerekirken almad\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131, havaya at\u0131lan cisme ili\u015fkin hesaplarda da <em>mv<\/em> b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn\u00fcn esas al\u0131nmas\u0131n\u0131n yanl\u0131\u015f sonu\u00e7lara yol a\u00e7t\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirtmi\u015ftir. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fizik\u00e7i ve felsefeciler\naras\u0131nda yo\u011fun ve uzun s\u00fcreli tart\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n ya\u015fanmas\u0131na yol a\u00e7an bu sorunun\nmatematiksel bak\u0131mdan Jean Le Rond d\u2019Alembert\u2019in <em>Traite du Dynamique<\/em>\n(1743) adl\u0131 eserinde \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcme kavu\u015fturuldu\u011fu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Ayn\u0131 eserin 1758\nbask\u0131s\u0131na yazd\u0131\u011f\u0131 \u00f6ns\u00f6zde d\u2019Alembert konuya yeterli bir felsefi a\u00e7\u0131klama da\nsunmu\u015ftur. Kant bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalardan haberi olmaks\u0131z\u0131n konuyla ilgilenmi\u015f ve soruna\n\u00e7ok ba\u015fka bir a\u00e7\u0131dan bir \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm \u00f6nermeyi denemi\u015ftir. Kant\u2019\u0131n \u00f6nerdi\u011fi \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm o\ng\u00fcnlerde ve bug\u00fcn de kabul g\u00f6rmemekle beraber Kritik projesine ge\u00e7meden \u00f6nce\nneyi ba\u015farmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 anlamak bak\u0131m\u0131ndan \u00f6nem arz etmektedir.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kant kendi \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131nda hem\nmetafiziksel\u2013nitel olana hem de matematiksel\u2013nicel olana yer veren bir\na\u00e7\u0131klaman\u0131n gereklili\u011fini savunmu\u015ftur. Kant bu yakla\u015f\u0131m i\u00e7in Georg Bernhard\nBilfinger\u2019in 1725\u2019te yay\u0131nlanan <em>Dilucidationes <\/em>adl\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmas\u0131ndan ilham\nald\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ifade etmi\u015ftir. Bilfinger varl\u0131\u011f\u0131n metafiziksel belirleniminin ne\nolmas\u0131 gerekti\u011fi konusunda Kartezyenler ve Wolffcular aras\u0131nda y\u00fcr\u00fcyen bir tart\u0131\u015fmaya\nbelirli bir bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan her ikisine de hak veren bir \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm \u00f6nermi\u015ftir.\nBenzer \u015fekilde Kant, matematiksel bak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan Kartezyenlerin, metafiziksel\nbak\u0131\u015f a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan da Leibnizcilerin hakl\u0131 oldu\u011funu ve matematiksel olanla\nmetafiziksel olan aras\u0131nda bir s\u00fcreklili\u011fin tasavvur edilebilece\u011fini\nd\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr. Ancak bu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fc\u015f bi\u00e7imi ya <em>vis viva<\/em>\u2019n\u0131n <em>vis mortua<\/em>\u2019ya\n(cismin dura\u011fan halde sahip oldu\u011fu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclen \u00f6l\u00fc kuvvete) indirgenebilece\u011fini\nya da vis viva\u2019n\u0131n dura\u011fan bir cisimde mevcut olaca\u011f\u0131 gibi sonu\u00e7lara yol a\u00e7t\u0131\u011f\u0131\ni\u00e7in yeterli bir \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm olmaktan uzak kalm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kant\u2019\u0131n yukar\u0131da\nand\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z ve 1764\u2019e kadar s\u00fcren \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 bu ilk giri\u015fimin ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131zl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n\nnedenlerini anlamak \u00fczere fizi\u011fin temel kavramlar\u0131n\u0131 metafizikle ili\u015fkisi\ni\u00e7erisinde d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnme giri\u015fimleridir. Kant\u2019\u0131n Uzaydaki Y\u00f6nler makalesinin Kritik\nprojesine giden yolda neden bu kadar \u00f6nemli oldu\u011fu da bu arka planda\nanla\u015f\u0131labilir olmaktad\u0131r. Kant\u2019\u0131n, uzay ve zaman\u0131n varl\u0131ksal stat\u00fcs\u00fc ile ilgili\ng\u00f6r\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcn de\u011fi\u015fmesi ile birlikte matematiksel olan\u0131n ge\u00e7erli oldu\u011fu alanla\nmetafizi\u011fin alan\u0131na giren ve kendinde olan aras\u0131ndaki kapat\u0131lamaz u\u00e7urumu bu\neserinde net olarak fark etti\u011fini d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnebiliriz.
